Python server

A small Flask web server on Google Cloud Run: this page, a JSON status endpoint, and a weather endpoint that calls the free Open-Meteo API. Every push to GitHub builds and deploys it.

Calls this server's /weather?lat=53.41&lon=-2.15, which asks Open-Meteo for the current weather and adds a plain-English description.

How it's built and run

Flask app in one file, main.py; the port comes from Cloud Run's PORT setting.
A Cloud Build trigger watches the GitHub repo: each push to main builds a container with Google's buildpacks (no Dockerfile) and deploys it.
Cloud Run in europe-west1 starts copies of the server only when requests arrive, capped at 2.
